Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees is an elected collegiate body managing the University. The role of the Board of Trustees is to address University development opportunities, assist fundraising activities and ensure quality improvement.
The Board of Trustees functions in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the University Charter and the internal regulations. The Board is elected for three years, consists of no more than 17 members. If necessary, by a decision of the general meeting of the Board of Trustees, additional members may be introduced into the Board by a simple majority voting. Meetings are held at least once a year, in person or online.
The Chairman acts on behalf of the Board of Trustees, representing its interests to the stakeholders; organizes the activities of the Board, determines the current and future tasks, and controls their completion.
Members of the Board of Trustees actively participate in the meetings of the Board of Trustees and University activities.
The Corporate Secretary is responsible for administrative support of the Board of Trustees activity, ensures liaison between the Board of Trustees and the University.
