On the eve of the International Anti-Corruption Day holiday (December 9), VII National Prize “Public Recognition“ Adal tulga - 2019 ”was held in the capital of Kazakhstan, where ten honorary citizens of the country were awarded with “Adal tulga” sign. The leaders of the anti-corruption twenty “A20” took part in the event, ambassadors of foreign countries, as well as members of the Anti-corruption hub of entrepreneurs of Turkic-speaking states.

On December 12 - 13, 2019 in the largest hotels of the city of Almaty, business breakfasts with Alisher Yelikbayev and Ablai Yussupov were held for students.

The II Science Forum: Research Impact kicked off at the AIFC Bureau

AlmaU won a grant for the Erasmus+ project «Accelerating ICT students’ startup development competence via interdisciplinary modular courses in the HEI curricula» together with 9 partners - domestic and foreign universities. For AlmaU, this is the first institutional project within the framework of Erasmus + of the European Union.

One month has passed since the start of the first project-oriented course "Publishing a research article in Scopus journals" at AlmaU. There are two more months of interesting work.

In the framework of the guest lecture project, on December 6, 2019 at Almaty Management University, representatives of “Rosa Khutor” resort (Russia, Sochi) spoke with 1-4 year students of R&HB specialty on the topic: “Event tourism as a promising type of development of tourist services”.

For every graduate, the graduation day is held in a special way. Diploma delivery ceremony for students of professional development and retraining programs took place at the university. AlmaU Graduate School of Business Management Consulting and Management Center brought together the lucky holders of diplomas and certificates of short-term courses under the programs “HR Manager”, “Commercial Director”, “Master of Sales”, and “Finance for Executives” on December 6, 2019. The event was held in a friendly atmosphere, where every trainee shared his impression. Recommendations on improving the practice-oriented courses were also given.

December 9, 2019 Almaty Management University hosted the annual International Day. This year the festival was attended by representatives of 12 different delegations: from Italy to Afghanistan.

On December 5, in the Hall of AlmaU Academic Council, a regular round table was held on the theme: "Tourism is a driver of development of Kazakhstan."

On November 28, 2019, AlmaU hosted a Welcome day for applicants of post-diploma programs. The program of the event consisted of two parts: a presentation of the programs: Masters in Higher Education and Doctoral Studies, and a master class from Rustam Kulpeisov.

AlmaU Entrepreneurship & Innovation team met with colleagues from Northampton University and Henley School of Business at Reading University, the UK, and also participated in “Creative Central Asia” Forum in Uzbekistan.

On November 27th 2019 AlmaU greeted First Vice Rector of Ural Federal University – Mr. Bugrov D.V. and Deputy First Vice Rector Loyevskiy D.

On November 30, 2019, the long-anticipated public defense of “Management in Education” design work by trainees of advanced training course of AlmaU Institute for Educational Development took place. The event was held in Shymkent, on the site of Nazarbayev Intellectual School of the chemical and biological direction.

December 12, 2019, on the birthday of Almaty University Management, an open report by the rector of AlmaU 4 You: University for you, city, entrepreneurship and country, will be held at Q-lab.
