AlmaU is announcing a competition for the academic mobility program for studying at partner universities in the Fall 2024/25 semester, for 1st and 2nd year undergraduate students of a 4-year degree, and 1st year students of a 3-year degree, studying under a state educational grant.

A representative of AlmaU and the Student Council President were invited to the "Come to the Green side!" event, where they presented an Eco-sculpture assembled from waste electronics and awarded prizes to the winners of the Samsung Recycling School.

We are pleased to announce that the representative of the Connect-Ed company was given 4 sets of personal computers, 1 laptop, 3 tablets, 3 e-book readers, donated by the University, employees and teaching staff of AlmaU.

In the spring of this year, AlmaU University held some digital literacy courses, organised in partnership with this fund.

The Rector of Almaty Management University, Gulnara Turdalievna, took part in the annual University Alliance of the Silk Road summit 2023 (UASR), held in Xi’an. At the forum, experts and teachers from different countries around the world discussed development and innovations in higher education in the context of the new technological revolution.

On 16th September in New York, Almaty Management University (AlmaU) and the New York Film Academy (NYFA) signed an agreement of cooperation in the field of educational programs.

On September 29, the AlmaU School of Politics and Law hosted a guest lecture by Paolo Scorbello within the discipline of Sustainable Economics on the topic «ESG, the environment, & its discontents». Dr. Paolo Skorbelo is journalist & researcher living in Almaty since 2013. PhD from the University of Glasgow, where he focused on industrial relations in Kazakhstan's oil sector. He completed a 3-year post-doc at Ca' Foscari University of Venice. After having worked for more than a decade as a freelance journalist in Kazakhstan, he now serves as the English-language editor at Vlast.kz.

On September 29, 2023, the Ambassador of India to Kazakhstan Dr. T.V. Nagendra Prasad and Consul General of India Sanjay Vedi visited AlmaU Almaty Management University.

On 22nd September, Jeroen Martens, head of the Business Education for Managers department at the Antwerp School of Management (ASM), held an informational meeting at AlmaU, gathering many people interested in global management.

On 23rd September 2023, was provided another meeting of the AlmaU Board of Trustees. The meeting was attended by members of the board, university management staff and deans of AlmaU schools.
