University of Malaysia became a partner of AlmaU

On January 16, representatives of the University of Malaya (Malaysia) met with AlmaU management to discuss cooperation opportunities.

Christian Kahl, Vice Rector for International Development and Research and International Office have agreed on signing Academic Exchange Agreement as well as mutual student exchange for summer schools. The Vice Dean of School of Public Policy and Law, Abdullin Rim also established contacts for academic faculty exchange.

Almaty Management University and University of Malaya have similar programs in International Relations (Regional Studies), Communication and Media Studies which will serve as the bridge for partnership with our School of Public Policy and Law.

The University of Malaya is a public research university in Kuala Lumpur and is Malaysia’s oldest university, founded in 1905. University of Malaya has more than 60 research centers with six research clusters and is very keen on publications including authoritative scientific databases Scopus and Web of Science.

In Almaty Management University foreign students from different parts of the world, including exchange students from Malaysia, were studying and studying now. Replenishing the list of international partners of the university with the prestigious University of Malaya will allow AlmaU to successfully develop international relations and expand the possibilities of academic exchange and academic mobility.
