“Softskills are more important than Hardskills”: Konstantin Krotov's master class was held at AlmaU

On January 10, 2020, as part of the master classes from AlmaU Graduate School of Business, a meeting was held between the head of the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg State University (Russia), Konstantin Krotov, on the topic: “Competencies of the modern leader: challenges of the digital age”.

The speaker discussed industrial revolutions with the participants in the master class, namely how their structure and management as a whole changed.

Konstantin Krotov showed with concrete examples how the world is changing: the speed with which changes occur, the scale of transformations and the systemic nature of the consequences.  Participants were also presented with comparative schemes with a series of rethinking.

He shared his expert opinion on changes in the future and demonstrated the target competency model 2025. And in the end, everyone could ask all their questions.

“Linear thinking only harms in a non-linear world.  The future is not a continuation of the present.  Intermittent development is good because it opens up new possibilities for everyone.  The 21st century does not belong to anyone. ”

The purpose of the master class was to tell and show how the world is changing and, accordingly, its management.  What is better to change, implement, and what to leave.  All participants replenished their luggage of knowledge, expanded the circle of useful acquaintances and, in general, were extremely pleased with this meeting.

We would also like to remind you that such master classes are held for free and absolutely anyone can participate.
