Signing Memorandum of Cooperation between “PR-company “Secret Counselor” LLP and EI “Almaty Management University”

On September 17, 2019, AlmaU Rector Gulmira Kurganbaeva met with Gaukhar Yusumbayeva, director of “PR-company “Secret Counselor” LLP. During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of holding joint events to develop the debate movement among AlmaU students.

The meeting resulted in the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between “PR-company “Secret Counselor” LLP and Almaty Management University educational institution. Within the framework of the Memorandum, assistance in the work of AlmaU "SYNERGY" student debate club is planned. There are going to be new projects to develop the debate movement in the student community.

AlmaU "SYNERGY" Debate Club is a youth organization at Almaty Management University that is engaged in training young people in educational technology in debates, and represents AlmaU in city and international debate tournaments.

The club helps spread a culture of dialogue, develop communicative and managerial competence of participants, increase social and political activity of youth and develop a culture of parliamentarism.

 “Synergy” from Latin word means “summing up effect of two or more factors”, characterizing that someone will still be superior to the other. It is a good name suitable for a debate club.
