Masters and MBA programs of AlmaU entered in top-200 the best programs of the world!
Following the results of a rating of 2015 of the international rating agency Eduniversal * 5 programs of a Masters and MBA of Almaty Management University (before IAB) entered in top-3 and top-5 specialized regional ratings of Eduniversal, having overtaken a number of prestigious world business schools, including, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Management Development Institute (MDI), India and others. Thereby each of them was included into 200 best programs of a world ranking.
The second Kazakhstan business school which also entered a ranking is KIMEP which on quality of similar programs entered in top-20 in the region "Central Asia" **.
The AlmaU programs which became the best:

We remind, that the global rating agency in the sphere of the higher education of Eduniversal (France, Paris) since 2007 annually sums up the results of ranging of one thousand the best business schools, and 4 (four) thousands of the best master and MBA-programs in 154 countries of the world.
Process of ranking takes place as follows: deans/rectors of 1000 best educational institutions of the world participate in the voting concerning business schools and determine the best of them by a number of criteria.
Methodology ranking of the Masters and MBA programs includes 8 lines, of which the most important are the following three:
- Reputation of the program;
- Salary of the graduate on the first job after graduation
- Satisfaction of attendies.
Besides, additional points received by Masters and MBA programs (entrance criteria are: registration on the program of representatives more than 7 nationalities, at least, than from 3 different geographical zones, at least 20% of graduates are studying or working abroad and availability of distance education).
Masters and MBA programs of AlmaU were assessed on the above criteria, and on the basis of the ranking came in the top 3 and top 5 specialized regional Eduniversal ratings for "Central Asia" region, which includes Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal Bangladesh, India, Uzbekistan, Pakistan.
For the first time the institutional award "Three palm branches" of Eduniversal rating agency was awarded to the International Academy of Business following the results of 2008. This title was confirmed every year until 2013, when IAB for the first time received "4 palm branches". Since that time AlmaU is receiving 4 palm branches that corresponds to the "best business school with considerable international influence".
Having received the fourth palm branch in Eduniversal rating in 2013, AlmaU thereby entered in top-300 the best business higher educational institutions of the world. Only two of Kazakhstanni business universities had the honor to get into the Eduniversal ranking - it is KIMEP and AlmaU. 4 palm trees branches, with a score of 146%, were awarded to Almaty Management University; 2 palm branches, with a score of 42% - KIMEP University - Bang College of business.
According to quantity of the received palm branches, participants of a raiting diveded on: universal business schools with strong global influence (5 palm trees - 100 schools), the best business schools with considerable international influence (4 palm trees – 200 schools), excellent business schools with the becoming stronger international influence (3 palm trees – 400 schools), good business schools with strong regional influence (2 palm trees – 200 schools), business schools with considerable local influence (1 palm tree – 100 schools).
