Based on the idea of creating an independent dialogue platform between representatives of government, business and society, which will result in new forms of cooperation and joint projects to solve the city’s urgent problems and implement successful socio-economic, technological and educational solutions, AlmaU, together with partners, held a forum for the opening of the first international space for colective work «QAYNAR BULAQ – Boiling Point of Almaty».
The forum brought together Kazakh, Russian and international experts, government officials and diplomats, entrepreneurs, leaders of civil society and academia. Within the framework of the forum, the opening of the first international Space "Boiling Point" of the city format in Almaty - «QAYNAR BULAQ – Boiling Point of Almaty» took place
At the start-discussion of the Forum, the topic “The New Reality of the Post-Covid World: Society, State and Business” was discussed and topical issues of collaborative efforts of society, state and business to solve the economic, social and technological problems of a complex, interdependent world after the pandemic were raised.
The discussion in the block "Education throughout life" considered the topic of the labor market, discussed trends, features, new forms of employment and new requirements for training. At the second session, Kazakh speakers talked about the transformation of a modern university and university development programs, Russian colleagues presented the possibilities of the educational digital platform "University 2035".
The "Entrepreneurship and Innovations" block touched upon the development of the creative economy, as well as cooperation between universities, business and the state. The discussion involved representatives of government, business and education in order to discuss the most effective forms of cooperation.
The session on tourism analyzed the best Kazakhstani and international practices in tourism development, including how to get useful results from analytics in tourism, community-based tourism, development of ecological and other forms of sustainable tourism.
Urban dialogues, the involvement of residents in the development of the urban environment became the subject of discussion of the track "Urban Development".
As part of the discussion in the «AI and Big Data» block, data debates were held: data as a driver for the socio-economic development of countries and issues of training Big-Data specialists were considered.
The forum will conclude with a foresight session "Trust in the Digital Environment as a new social value" with the participation of Assylbek Kozhakhmetov, President of AlmaU, and Dmitry Peskov, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Digital and Technological Development, Director General of the NTI.
