19 May Within the framework of mobility programs and joint research work AlmaU students and professors from Lehigh University (USA) came to AlmaU University. On May 23rd in Qaynar Bulaq (Green room) students with the support of professors publicly defended 4 projects:
1. Air Pollution - this project will be aimed at measuring air quality, distributing information about the harm of polluted air to the residents of Almaty. As well as to assemble and sell inexpensive air filters for residents of Almaty.
2. Save TUBA is an app for elementary school students that teaches children to cherish the natural environment and animals through playful dynamics.
3. Food insecurity - solving food problems in the city of Almaty, interviews with migrants and visitors from other cities of Kazakhstan.
4. Research Capacity Building / Central Asian Researchers Network - Creating a community of young scientists and promoting research on the SDGs for exchanges and collaborative projects.
Collaboration with Lehigh University has been in place since 2019.
