Delegation from IUCA (Тоkmоk, Kyrgyzstan) at AlmaU
On March 19, a delegation from International University of Central Asia (IUCA, Tokmok, Kyrgyzstan) visited AlmaU on a working visit.
Earlier, President of AlmaU Asylbek Kozhakhmetov received guests from IUCA – the provost Kamila Sharshekeeva and vice-president Aigyul Kalchakeeva - at Almaty Management University, where it was decided to schedule a meeting with a working team of the Kyrgyz university.
A delegation from Kyrgyzstan consisting of 14 people arrived in Almaty on March 19. The guests visited our innovative museum, cyberpolygon laboratory, neuromareting laboratory, our new library, lecture halls and classrooms of Almaty Management University. Colleagues from Kyrgyzstan were pleasantly impressed by the new building of the university - AlmaU Knowledge Building, which was built in 2017. There were a lot of questions from the delegation: how does the neuromarketing laboratory work; is there a special software for the cyberpolygon; and what methods of team work does DesignLab use?.
After the excursion, there was a meeting of AlmaU working team headed by the adviser of the rector on academic issues Asel Aryn and IUCA delegation. The plans are to sign a memorandum of understanding between universities and further cooperation in joint programs, exchange of students and teaching staff, and also joint research.
