The fourth wave of master classes within “Creative Spark: Higher Education Enterprise Program” project
A fourth master class was held at Almaty Management University on June 21 within the framework of “Creative Spark: Higher Education Enterprise Program” project under coordination of British Council “Networking in the Fashion Industry, Teamwork Motivation, Stress Management and Listening skills” and “Public Speaking for Art”.
This time, the master-class tested networking skills in the fashion business, listening skills and getting information through Humble Inquiry. For better material acquiring, every piece of information was supported by tasks and activities. All participants performed tasks, taking into account peculiarities of their fashion business or fashion start-up projects.
On the basis of the best case studies, the project residents were able to get valuable information about the above topics. The speaker of the first master class was a British expert, Katerina Thomas, and a public speaking guru Khan Irina. 40 residents of the project, including fashion-designers, entrepreneurs, retail, fashion - bloggers, representatives of the universities took part and charged with the energy of the fourth wave of master classes.
“Creative Spark” is a five-year initiative to support international universities and build international partnerships to develop entrepreneurial skills and creative economies in seven countries, including Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan), the South Caucasus (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia) and Ukraine with the support of United Kingdom.
