People actively participated in the charity project and granted wishes of children from orphan asylums and hospitals.

New Year is a time of miracles. This charity project shows that it is very easily to work miracles. To realize a child’s dream, it was enough just to choose one of the wishes on the New Year tree. The wish trees were located in large shopping malls. Instead of the usual new year decorations and tinsels, there were cards with a child's name,  age and desired gift.

In 2016, 1206 children’s wishes were granted.

The project initiators are students of Almaty Management University (formerly MAB), in total, the project involved 376 volunteers of Almaty and Astana.

* "Charity Wish Tree" Project was launched in 2014 at AlmaU (Almaty Management University). That time a group of students granted wishes of more than 60 children from the orphan asylum № 1 ("Baganashil" village).
