Campus France Day: our people in France!
On September 22-23, the rector of Almaty Management University Almagul Kanagatova made a speech at the event of Campus France Day (Paris, France).
On the first day AlmaU delegation visited the French school of Cordon Bleu, where they were presented the campus and the University. On the second day there were meetings of participants in the National Institute of history and art.
Campus France Day take place in France every year, it is so – called "days of tourism, cultural heritage and gastronomy", during which participants also discuss measures to support education and academic mobility of students and teachers, exchange of experience in creation of training programs, discussing the possibility of creating joint programs and programs "double diploma" and many other matters.
For the first time AlmaU took part in Campus France Day in 2014, that time Vice-rector for academic Affairs Nurzhamal Dusengulova and Advisor to the President of the University Alibek Bisembaev went to France.
AlmaU Rector Almagul Kanagatova presented the project of the University during her speech, the cultural and linguistic camp "Ulytau" as a successful example of cultural and linguistic tourism.
On Campus France Day A. Kanagatova met with French partners of AlmaU, and also discussed ways of cooperation with other participants (it is planned to launch a number of joint programmes and projects in different areas: business, management, tourism, etc.). AlmaU Rector noted high interest from the French side to Kazakhstan, its education and culture.
