AlmaU’s partnership with Arizona State University (part 2)

AlmaU delegation continued its visit to the Arizona State University with support of Cintana Education to discuss long-term partnership. Visit consisted of an intensive one-week program on the ASU Campus. AlmaU’s team discovered the history of the University's transformation and development, shared a first-hand experience with colleagues from various schools and departments, as well as met with the ASU President Michael Crow who gave an inspiring speech about new model of American University and gifted a signed copy of his new book.

Delegation had fruitful and interactive discussions with colleagues from Office of VP research Development, Global Launch, Study abroad, Faculty development, Marketing and Branding, Global academic Initiatives, Student Center, W. P. Carey School of Business, Chief information Office, Office of the University Planner, University Sustainability Practices, Knowledge enterprise, EdPlus, Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College, Center for Advanced Studies in Global Education and others.

Visit resulted in the outline of a framework for long term partnership to bring new professional expertise for transformation of higher education in Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
