AlmaU students’ project received support from Almaty Tech Garden
3rd year students of “Logistics” specialty of Almaty Management University (earlier IAB) Ilinur Yakhyarova and Erlan Nurtaev took part in acceleration program Almaty Tech Garden. After successful presentation of the unique project Postero green, young start-upers received new perspectives and opportunities.
Acceleration program Almaty Tech Garden – is a contest between innovational projects which gives to youth a unique chance to get expert grade and realize their ideas. All the projects go through strict selection process and best of them get all the needed condition for development: working cabinet, mentors and investment.
Participants’ performance on the program of acceleration held in the form of Pitch Day. Time-limit – not more than 3 minutes for short presentation and 1 minute for questions/answers. In the incubator were presented about 30 projects and AlmaU students became one of those who managed to impress jury and receive real support of Almaty Tech Garden.
“Many projects were defended firstly in such a format, it was exciting and not easy, - tells Ilinur Yakhyarova, - we presented our idea in front of employees of Almaty Tech Garden and foreign investors. As a result, we reached final and it was decided to provide us with the office, mentoring and, possibly, finance support. Mostly, jury liked processability of our development. Many presented projects were on the stage of development but we have already have active business – this became a huge advantage. Besides, specialists noted our presentation, good quality of performance”.
Another author of Postero Green Erlan Nurtaev reminded that on November of this year guys participated in “Start-up battle” on the conference of TechConnect in Astana and there the managing manager of “Baiterek” holding Baizhan Kanafin expressed interest in our project. “Recently, we met and discussed details of partnership, – shared pleasant news Erlan, - Mr.Kanafin told that also ready to support our project after revision of some details”.
