AlmaU rector participated in BMDA conference

20-22 of April, Minsk hosted the 14th BMDA* Conference (Baltic Management Development Association). The theme of the conference in 2016: "Academic Solutions and Insights" (Academic solutions and ideas).

About 70% of the speakers - invited international experts in the field of management. They shared their experiences, how to use modern technology to achieve business results, using fewer resources.

Almaty Management University were represented by rector Almagul Kanagatova and associate professor Sholpan Maralbaeva who is head of laboratory "Topical aspects of management: local and global approaches". Our speakers took part in the first, research part of conference. The report of Almagul Kanagatova was devoted to a business education subject in Kazakhstan (section "Presentations of Research Papers by International and Local Representatives of Academic Community", "Presentations of Scientific Works of the International and Local Representatives of the Academic Community").

Sholpan Maralbayeva made the report on a subject of her doctoral thesis about competitiveness of the companies: "Competitiveness Potential of a Company During its Life Cycle" in the same section.

Besides, the rector of AlmaU addressed at plenary session of conference: "From "Supply" Approach to "Demand" Approach - What is the Most Effective and Efficient Form to Find out and Satisfy the Customer Needs"

The theme of Almagul Kanagatova’s speech was the problem of nurturing talent - "Discovering and Educating the Talent Generation".

Almagul Kanagatova: "We, as representatives of AlmaU, talked a lot about our alma mater, and it is worth noting, our university has aroused great interest in Minsk, colleagues asked about our university, about Kazakhstan. Impressions of the conference were very positive, we properly represented our country at the international forum."
