AlmaU once again confirms its title as the best business school with significant international influence

November 10-13, 2020, the 13th Eduniversal World Convention, organized by the global ranking and rating agency specializing in higher education Eduniversal in partnership with the Nova School of Business & Economics (Nova SBE), a leading business school in Portugal, was held. The Convention included plenary sessions, master classes, round tables, and expert talks on topical issues of business education, such as changing the agenda for the future, teaching and learning revolution, collaboration success stories and anticipating the future of business education.

AlmaU President, Assylbek Kozhakhmetov, delivered a speech at the plenary session on the topic “Sustaining relevance – Rethinking Business Education: Change Agenda for the Future”, which was attended by Dr. Aneeta Madhok, Managing Director at Open Spaces Consulting and Eduniversal Scientific Committee member for the Central Asia, and Dr. Virginijus Kundrotas, President of the Baltic Management Development Association (BMDA) and Eduniversal Scientific Committee member for the Eastern Europe Region.

On November 11, the Eduniversal officially announced and awarded participating universities with Palmes of Excellence. AlmaU for the 8th time confirmed the title of the best business school with significant international influence, receiving the 4 Palmes of Excellence award.

In 2008, the International Academy of Business (IAB) for the first time received 3 Palmes of Excellence. This title was confirmed every year until 2013, when IAB first received 4 Palmes of Excellence, which means that AlmaU is recognized as a "Top Business School with significant international influence"**.

* The Eduniversal international rating agency in higher education (France) annually publishes the ranking of thousands of the best business schools, and more than 5 thousand of the Best Master's and MBA programs in 154 countries. The ranking has been published since 2007.

The Eduniversal World Convention is the main event of the year organized by the international ranking and rating agency. Held annually in one of the nine geographical zones, this international event was established in 2007 and has since brought together the most outstanding institutions and delegates in the field of Higher Education.  The Convention is a four-day event that incorporates the annual official announcement and rewarding of the Best 1,000 Business Schools ranking.
