AlmaU - grant holder for the Erasmus+ project
Great news!
AlmaU won a grant for the Erasmus+ project «Accelerating ICT students’ startup development competence via interdisciplinary modular courses in the HEI curricula» together with 9 partners - domestic and foreign universities. For AlmaU, this is the first institutional project within the framework of Erasmus + of the European Union.
The aim of the project is the formation of competencies in creating startup projects for students of ICT specialties, through the introduction of modules in the educational program of universities.

The duration of the project is 36 months, and a large number of events and seminars between participants on exchanging experiences and developing an ICT-entrepreneurship program will be conducted.

At AlmaU, School of Engineering Management, the project holder, School of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Center for curriculum development, the Department of Research and Development and the International Office as an observer supervisor will be the main participants in the project.
The project provides for working trips of foreign partners to Almaty (AlmaU) and holding the final conference on the project at Almaty Management University in Almaty. In the framework of the project for the exchange of experiences, the faculty, staff, and students will go to Germany, Latvia, Estonia and Russia.
We especially note that the dean of School of Engineering Management Kuanysh Abeshev and the coordinator for research grants Aliya Bizhanova took part in kick-offmeeting on December 4-7 this year in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Preparatory and organizational work is currently underway for the full launch of Erasmus+ project "Accelerating ICT students' startup development competence via interdisciplinary modular courses in the HEI curricula".
