In frames of CEEMAN conference AlmaU signed memorandums with world business-universities
September 23-26 of 2015 in Almaty was 23rd Annual CEEMAN* Conference “Localization vs. Globalization of Management Development in Dynamic Societies”. The organizers of this conference, which was conducted for the first time in Kazakhstan, became Almaty Management University (AlmaU, earlier IAB, Almaty).
September 25 during the forum took place official signing of Memorandums about partnerships between AlmaU and three world business-schools. From the side of Kazakhstan business-university Memorandums were signing by the rector of AlmaU Assylbek Kozhakhmetov and the dean of The Higher School of business Gulnar Kurenkeeva, from the side of foreign universities – director of entrepreneurship college ISEMI Liora Katzenshtein (Israel); vice-rector of Russian Academy of national household and state service Sergey Myasoedov; dean of college of economics and management under Shanghai University Lin Chzhou (China).
Business-school ISEMI was founded in 1996 by the group of international scientists and entrepreneurs with the aim of development of practical programs of entrepreneurship education and management development in Israel and all over the world. ISEMI is active in Europe, Asia, North and South America. In 2012 ISEMI won tender of European Consortium for education of business-trainers in Europe.
Antai College of Economics and Management (ACEM) is the first and the only Chinese business-school, which was honored to wear “triple crown” (ACEM got accreditations EQUIS, AMBA, AACSB). The history of the college is coming from 1903, when Mr. Syuan Hua, the minister of transport of Jin dynasty, suggested to launch Nanyang Business-school at a public university. After the century of changes and reforms, ACEM is taking top positions in Chinese business-schools ranking and seeks to enter the top business-universities of Asia
Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and State Service (RPANEaSS) leads its history since 1977. From the moment of creation this Academy of National Economy was famous as “Ministers’ smithy”. With the beginning of economic transfigurations in Russia in 90s of 20th century, there was a change in strategic model of Academy: from preparation of nomenclature personnel it moved to business-education and became an educational institution, which suggests all types of educational services in management sphere. RASS, founded in 1991 took leading position among educational institutions, which prepare managers for the system of state and municipal service.
Signing of memorandums between AlmaU, business-university #1 in Kazakhstan, and leading world business-schools, beneficially reflected on not only development of organizations – participants of agreement about partnership, but also on the quality of business-education in Kazakhstan generally. According to Memorandums, sides, in particular, will consider possibility of partnership in following fields:

- Exchange of students by undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs;
- Exchange of professors and teaching staff for teaching by undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs;
- Exchange of professors and teaching staff for development of cooperative events, holding of cooperative researches and projects;
- Creation of cooperative programs and double-degree programs by undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs;
- Provision of mentoring of masters and PhDs;
- Establishment of academic connections in the field of education for mentors;
- Provision of all needed materials to the partner university for the further partnership development;
- Exchange of materials, information of academic programs and also partnership between libraries.
