The pilot project “Ecosystem of students’ entrepreneurship” has been finished
Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovations Development of AlmaU is ready to share good news with you. The pilot project “Ecosystem of students’ entrepreneurship” has been finished. Eurasian Resources Group, AlmaU and Tel-Aviv University together decided to continue the project in 2018. Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Development AlmaU and Association of Friends of Tel Aviv University summarized the first year results of the project "Ecosystem of Student Entrepreneurship" with the support of Eurasian Resources Group and announced plans for 2018.
The results of the pilot project and "Teacher-innovator" contest are announced at the "round tables" in the regions. Therefore, in Karaganda the "round table" was held on March 26, in Pavlodar - on March 28, Kostanay - on March 30, in Aktobe - on April 2 and 3.
The project "Ecosystem of students’ entrepreneurship" was launched in March 2017 on the initiative of the Eurasian Group and is aimed to the developing of entrepreneurial skills among students in the regions where ERG enterprises are present. In total, nine educational institutions are involved in the project: 8 universities and 1 college.
Over the past year, Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Development AlmaU conducted a diagnosis of entrepreneurial potential, and identified the strengths of each institution. Training of the teaching staff was conducted for new teaching methods; teachers were helped to improve, and to create new training programs on entrepreneurship.
During the entire period of the project’s first stage more than 1,100 students, 250 teachers and about 50 members of administration staff were involved in training and competitions from all regions.
