The process of ranking goes as follows: the deans / rectors of the 1000 best educational institutions of the world participate in voting concerning business schools and determine the best of them according to a number of criteria.

The methodology of the MA program and MBA program ranking includes 8 directions, the most important of which are the following 3:

1. Reputation of the program;

2. Salary of the graduate in the first place of work after graduation;

3. Satisfaction of listeners.

Besides, additional points MA and MBA programs are awarded based on the following - (entrance criteria are: registration of representatives of more than 7 nationalities from at least 3 different geographical areas, at least 20% of graduates study or work abroad and availability of distance education).

AlmaU Master and MBA programs were evaluated according to the above criteria and ranked among top-1 and top-2 specialized regional ratings of Eduniversal for the region of Central Asia, which includes Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Maldives , Nepal, Bangladesh, India, Uzbekistan, Pakistan.

For the first time the institutional award "Three palm branches" of the Eduniversal rating agency was awarded to the then International Academy of Business in 2008. This title was confirmed every year until 2013, when MAB first received "4 palm branches." Since then, for the third year in a row AlmaU has received 4 palm branches, which corresponds to the level of "the best business school with significant international influence."

Having received the fourth palm branch in the Eduniversal rating in 2013, ALmaU thus became one of the top 300 best business universities in the world. Only three Kazakhstani business universities were honored to get into the Eduniversal ranking: AlmaU, Kimep University Bang College of Business and Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Business. 4 palm branches, with a result of 235%, were awarded to Almaty Management University; 2 Palm branches, with a 34% result - to the University of KIMEP - Bang College of business. http://www.eduniversal-ranking.com/business-school-university-ranking-in-kazakhstan.html

In accordance with the number of palm branches obtained, the participants in the rating are divided into: universal business schools with strong global influence (5 palm trees - 100 schools awarded), best business schools with significant international influence (4 palms - 200 schools), excellent business - schools with strengthening international influence (3 palms - 400 schools), good business schools with strong regional influence (2 palms - 200 schools), business schools with significant local influence (1 palm tree - 100 schools).
