“Ulytau” project is marked by the Assemble of nations of Kazakhstan!
Unique project of Almaty Management University (earlier IAB), aimed at popularization of culture, history, traditions and customs of Kazakh nation received letter of appreciation from the Assembly of nations of Kazakhstan for weighty contribution to development of state language and active participation in republican cultural-educational project ANK “Myn bala”.
Cultural-linguistic camp “Ulytau” (CLC) – project of International Academy of Business (now Almaty Management University), which was launched in 2010 in the place Ulytau, the heart of Kazakh statehood. Methodology of studying Kazakh language in CLC “Ulytau” is based on “immersion” of participants in traditional language, cultural and living environment of Kazakh nation. Already more than 300 people have been educated in frames of this project, including top-managers and specialist of the group of companies JSC “FNW “Samruk-Kazyna” and Kazakhstani journalists, who gave high grade to this program.
For five years participants of the project have visited different points of Kazakhstan: on the North – Burabai, South – Zhambyl region, where they were studying unique monuments of medieval architecture and saw excavations of ancient cities. In 2013 project “Ulytau” immersed them into the secrets of Issyk mounds, Saks and history of “Golden Human”. Last year the camp was set up in picturesque foothills of Zailiskiy Alatau, in Almaty region. This year “Ulytau” held in two places: on the banks of Alakol and in Talgar canyon (Huns aul).
As it is known, 2015 was declared as a Year of the Assembly of nations of Kazakhstan. Project “Ulytau” in collaboration with ANK conducted republican seminars-trainings on development and implementation of modern technologies in the field of accelerated language education on the topic of: “Innovational methods of language education”. One of the results of partnership was participation of 22 methodists-logisticians from the Assembly of Nations of Kazakhstan in “Ulytau-2015”. They came to cultural-linguistic camp from 14 regions of Kazakhstan. Participation in the project of AlmaU gave them an opportunity to study new methodologies of Kazakh language education.
