On March 29-31, AlmaU, within the framework of social ecosystem project "Auylga Senimmen" initiated and supported by university, held an educational intensive trainings for directors and leaders of rural schools in the Aiyrtau district of the North Kazakhstan region to design rural schools development strategies.
AlmaU President Kozhakhmetov Asylbek Bazarbaevich in his speech during the opening session noted that the development strategy for rural schools in the region should be continuously integrated with the development strategy for the region, district and rural areas. As part of the project, during first day activity, delegates held a meeting deputy mayor of the North Kazakhstan region Gani Nygymetov on the development of education in the region and the university's potential to improve the quality of education in villages and other rural areas.
AlmaU team also held meetings and discussions with mayors of rural districts and the local rural community of Lobanovo village. During the visit AlmaU Leadership met parents of pupils dedicated to the rebuilding of the former rural college and the creation on its basis of a higher multidisciplinary rural college managed by the university to discuss the opportunities for studies.
