Specialized primary and reaccreditation of the IQAA
On June 8 and 9, 2022, AlmaU was visited by IQAA (Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education) experts for specialized initial and reaccreditation of the university's 15 educational programs
The expert commission included 18 leading national and international IQAA experts from the cities of Tallinn, Moscow, Riga, Kerch, Almaty, Karaganda, Nur-Sultan, Pavlodar, etc., as well as representatives of employers and the student community.
The expert group on the first cluster of educational programs was headed by Davletbayeva Nazgul Bakytovna - Candidate of Economic Sciences, Professor, Department of "Management" of the Faculty of Economics, E.A. Buketov Karaganda University.
The second group was headed by Stambulov Serik Berdibaevich- PhD, associated professor ( docent) of the Department of World History and International Relations, E.A. Buketov Karaganda University.
In the course of the visit, the guests became acquainted with the infrastructure of the university, academic, research, educational and social work of the university.
Committee members interviewed key stakeholders in the educational process - deans and program leaders of schools, faculty, employers, students, and alumni.
Experts visited the practice bases of accredited educational programs: Center for Public Opinion Research, ENACTUS KAZAKHSTAN, Studio MONIN, Home Credit Bank.
As a result of the visit, the expert group will present its conclusions, the results of which will be submitted to the Accreditation Council of the IQAA to take a decision on the accreditation of the University's educational programs.
