Atrium, dances and not only…

A.Kozhakhmetov told about university’s plans for the new academic year.

On September 10 in Almaty Management University (previously IAB) was a general meeting of employees and faculty of the University, main speaker was the President of the University Assylbek Kozhakhmetov.

The agenda included: approval of the organizational structure of the NEI “Almaty Management University” for 2014-2015 academic year, as well as the presentation of the main directions of development on 2015-2016 academic year. Besides, the Ombudsman of AlmaU presented the results of last year, after what the Provision “On the Ombudsman of NEI “Almaty Management University” was affirmed.  

 

Despite the fact that the meeting was lasting almost 2 hours, people were listening speakers with unflagging interest. That’s not surprising, because issues discussed on the meeting concerned lives of everybody. The President of the University, A. Kozhakhmetov told about incomes and expenses of the last year, also he reminded that in 2015-2016 academic year AlmaU has tremendous plans, the most important of which are building of atrium and sports complex. Also he informed that from now the University shares more attention to the health of employees – in the nearby future will be introduced social package of medical insurance for everybody. Now employees can support their health and improve physical form not only in the University’s gym, but also with the help of dance classes – all the necessary conditions will be created for that in a new sports complex.   

 

                        

 

*Ombudsman – an employee, who is not a member of the Board of Trustees, appointed by the Board of Trustees, who in the frames of his activities explain provisions of the Corporate Code of Business Conduct, on the confidential base collect and review information on the violation of provisions of the Code., initiates the consideration of disputes on violation of provisions of the Code and participates in its resolving. Interested people can inform Ombudsman about illegal and unethical actions of the officials and employees of the University, including anonymous telling, and their rights don’t have to be infringed in such cases. This position was introduced in AlmaU a year ago.
