AlmaU was the first university that signed a memorandum with ICF Kazakhstan

On March 24, 2023 Almaty Management University hosted a round table with the leadership of ICF Kazakhstan on the joint project Coaching HUB, on the integration of coaching values and non-directive practices in the training approaches of educational organizations.

"We are the first University in Kazakhstan to actively apply coaching elements to management. We have more than a thousand MBA students enrolled in our Business School, and we believe these tools should be brought to all companies, allowing them to raise the level of professionalism in management," said AlmaU Rector Gulnar Kurenkeeva.

"For a year and a half AlmaU in partnership with the Department has been realizing projects to advance coaching in Kazakhstan. The most recent is the International Coaching Week at the University, support for the Women for Women project, the ON AIR program for the development of professional coaches, and support for the development of the University Strategy. We plan to develop our cooperation on a systematic basis and highlight current areas and indicators of development of Coaching HUB and professional coaching in Kazakhstan," shared the experience of joint projects Elena Grigorieva, first President of the Chapter, head of the Board of Trustees.

As a result of the meeting, AlmaU was the first university to sign a memorandum of cooperation and interaction on the development of coaching and non-directive leadership practices with the ICF Kazakhstan Chapter. This proved once again that AlmaU is one of the leading universities in the implementation of advanced tools and trends in education.
