AlmaU develops cooperation with French universities

April 6, 2016 in Almaty Management University held regular monthly meeting of the Chamber of Commerce & Industry France Kazakhstan (CCIFK). Thus, the Chamber celebrated the 5th anniversary of cooperation with AlmaU.

The meeting was attended by members of CCIFK, students, teachers and employees of Alma University. The meeting was visited by the General Consul of France in Almaty Mr. Patrick Renard ,and the attaché of General Consulate on university cooperation Mr. Severin van Gastel.

AlmaU actively develops partnerships with French universities. For the purpose of solidifying of cooperation with the Kazakhstan University and Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Almaty representatives of Business school Rennes arrived: deputy dean Mr. Viola and representative of the international office Mrs. Prieur, and also business development manager of School of Management of IESEG.

The speakers of the meeting became Hisham Belmaashi, deputy general director and commercial director of the Free Economic Zone "Khorgos Eastern Gate" (report on "SEZ Khorgos East Gate: Revival of the Silk Road"), Jean-Yves Kozak, CEO of LDI Dimotrans Kazakhstan ( "Infrastructure development as a economic policy indicator "), Ildar Saifulin, manager of public services and international trade, sales and marketing manager of Bureau Veritas (" on simplification of cross-border trade in services of the Bureau Veritas "), and Marie Anne Serv, technical expert of the French Embassy in Kazakhstan (Presentation on creation of school of engineering).

Among speakers from university were: Orynbasar Tumenbayeva, dean of School of Economics and AlmaU Service, and Nurbek Saparkhodzhayev, head of scientific laboratory "IT in Education".
