AlmaU took part in the 18th Annual BMDA Conference

18th Annual BMDA Conference titled Multidisciplinary approach in business and education to assure high competitiveness has been held online on October15-16th 2020. University has been presented by the President – Assylbek Kozhakhmetov and Rector – Yerbol Suleimenov. The organizers of the conference were Baltic Management Development Association (BMDA) and TalTech University (Estonia).

President acted as a speaker in the Panel: “What changes in educational policy enable to increase competitiveness of the graduates” where he talked about the Agenda for Educational Policy in Emerging Economies to Ensure Competitiveness of Graduates. Other speakers included:  Kornelija Tiesnesytė, Vice Minister of Education (Lithuania),  Ulla Illison, head of just founded Education and Youth Authority (Estonia) and Tim Mescon, Ph.D., Executive vice president and chief officer for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa for AACSB International (The Netherlands).

Rector acted as the moderator of the round table, where participants discussed Interdisciplinary / multidisciplinary / cross-disciplinary programs and courses as a part of business education and what learning methods are most effective to enhance future competitiveness.

Conference aimed at finding fast and right solutions now and tomorrow. Event has been organized with the AlmaU partner University - TalTech in Estonia, with whom we actively cooperate within the Erasmus + program and joint activities.
