Representatives of Arizona State University and Arizona National Guard visited AlmaU
The local academic and expert community had interactive discussions with Brian Gerber, Director, MA in Emergency Management and Homeland Security Programs; Cyndi Coon, Chief of Staff, Director, Threatcasting Lab; Jeff Guimarin, Executive Director, Pat Tillman Veterans Center; Jacob Lassin, Postdoctoral Research Scholar, The Melikian Center: Russian, Eurasian and East European Studies – from Arizona State University; and Pete Caffrey, LTC (Lieutenant Colonel) – Arizona National Guard.
The visit consisted of cooperation discussions with AlmaU top management and a networking meeting with the academicians and experts.
The main topics of talks were cybersecurity, Eurasian studies, refugees/national security, disaster management, threat identification, women rights and opportunities, etc.
AlmaU runs long-term academic partnership with the Cintana Education and the Arizona State University.
