AlmaU has passed the international re-accreditation of IQA CEEMAN for the period up to 2029
Almaty – June 13 – By the decision of the IQA CEEMAN expert commission, Almaty Management University re-approved accreditation for a six-year period from July 13, 2023 to July 13, 2029.

IQA CEEMAN is an international management development association founded in 1993 with the aim of accelerating the growth of quality management development in Central and Eastern Europe. It is now a global network of management development institutions with an interest in quality education and innovation in this field, as well as in the broad field of change-related subjects, with 200 members from 50 countries in Europe, North America, Latin America, Africa and Asia.
Accreditation of a higher educational institution is a procedure for recognizing the quality of the activities of an educational organization or educational program in accordance with established standards.
The accreditation process includes several stages and consists of the process of compiling a report or profile of the university, as well as interviews with staff, faculty, leaders, students and alumni. The interviews are conducted by members of the CEEMAN accreditation commission who come to AlmaU.
History of cooperation AlmaU & CEEMAN:
- In January 2010 MAB - the only university in Kazakhstan - was awarded international accreditation: European institutional accreditation of the International Association for Management Development CEEMAN in the field of education.
- In 2014 - the International Association for the Development of Management of Central and Eastern Europe CEEMAN Champions Award in the category "Institutional Management".
- On September 23-26, 2015, the 23rd Annual CEEMAN Conference "Localization vs. Globalization of Leadership and Management Development in Dynamic Societies" took place in Almaty.
- AlmaU was awarded CEEMAN Champions Awards-2017 in the category "Responsible management of education".
- In 2017, received CEEMAN re-accreditation for a period of 5 years
In 2021 Gulnara Kurenkeeva received the CEEMAN CHAMPION AWARDS 2021 in the School Leader of the Year nomination
On September 20-22, 2023 AlmaU will host the 31st Annual CEEMAN Conference “Leadership for a Sustainable World”
President of EI "Almaty Management University", Kozhakhmetov Asylbek Bazarbayevich in 2015 was a member of the board of CEEMAN - International Association for the Development of Management in Dynamic Societies. And from 2016 to the present, he has been the Vice President of CEEMAN for Central Asia.
